Study Hall Hoops partnered with USA Basketball to bring a premium youth basketball league to our community. All games are played following official USA Basketball rules, regulations, and developmental standards; which ensures every player gets a professionally standardized experience.

Register below to reserve your spot as availability is limited. There are only four (4) game times scheduled each week and rosters are limited to seven (7) players; which means there are a limited number of roster spots possible.

How is USA Basketball League Challenge different?

USA Basketball League Challenge was created specifically to address four (4) of the most challenging aspects of modern day youth basketball:

  • Cost - Study Hall Hoops keeps it simple… Provide real value at a highly competitive price.  Study Hall Hoops monthly membership includes participation in weekly League Challenge Workouts (on FRIDAYS) and Games (on SUNDAYS) as well as ALL weekly sessions (FRIDAY Open Runs, SATURDAY Clinics, and SUNDAY Shoot Arounds).

    • No parking fees.  No admission fees. No tournament fees. Just consistent value at a fixed monthly cost.

  • Convenience - All Study Hall Hoops games are played locally, right here in our community at the same place, on the say day, at the same time every week.

    • No long distance commuting to/from games. No travel. No hotels. No more endless frustration waiting for games times to be announced.

  • Coaching - Study Hall Hoops coaches adhere to USA Basketball rules & regulations, as well as prioritize individual player development over team wins & losses.

    • No daddy ball politics. No role players. It’s not equal, but it is fair.

  • Competition - Rosters are optimized for player development purposes, not weekend “championship” pictures. Balanced teams result in competitive games; which allow players to develop.

    • No super teams. No blowout wins or losses. Just solid matchups every game.

Additional Details

  • Age Levels - Study Hall Hoops has two (2) Divisions; which support players in age levels 12U - 17U:

    • Middle School Division (12U-14U)

    • High School Division (15U-17U)

  • Grade Levels - Study Hall Hoops has two (2) Divisions; which support players in grade levels 6-12:

    • Middle School Division (Grades 6-8)

    • High School Division (Grades 9-12)

  • Location - All games played at Flintridge Intermediate School (FIS) Gymnasium, aka “The CLASSROOM”.

  • Schedule - Games scheduled every Sunday, except holidays.

  • Times - Games times are scheduled weekly at:

    • Middle School Division (4:00 PM & 5:00 PM)

    • High School Division (6:00 PM & 7:00 PM)

  • Requirements - Study Hall Hoops monthly membership ($250) required to participate.

    • One time registration fee ($100) includes uniform.

Single session drop-in payments are available for ALL Study Hall Hoops sessions:

NOTE: Single session drop-ins are NOT eligible for League Challenge participation.
